What is included in each grade bundle?
Each grade bundle includes a full year of Mathematics, ELA, Science, and History & Civics, organized into 36 weeks of instruction.
How is the curriculum organized?
Lessons are organized week by week rather than around a rigid daily schedule. You get a clear plan for the year while keeping control over when and how the work gets done.
What homeschooling approach does Homeschool Advantage use?
Our approach is eclectic, structured, and parent-led. We combine direct instruction, reading, writing, practice, discussion, projects, and hands-on learning rather than following a single educational method.
Is the curriculum aligned with educational standards?
Yes. Each grade is built around proven, grade-level educational standards and a clear progression of academic skills and knowledge.
Does the curriculum promote a particular worldview?
No. Homeschool Advantage is secular and academically focused. We teach factual history, civic responsibility, mathematics, science, literature, and writing without promoting a political, religious, or social agenda.
How much screen time does the curriculum require?
There is no set daily screen requirement. Parents use the digital portal to access lessons, while much of the child’s learning happens offline through reading, writing, discussion, practice, experiments, and hands-on activities. Short videos are used sparingly when they support instruction.
What devices can I use?
The curriculum works on computers, tablets, and mobile devices with a stable internet connection. For regular lesson use, we recommend a computer or tablet for the best experience.
How do I know whether my child is making progress?
Lesson quizzes are automatically scored and provide regular feedback throughout the year. In addition, all grades except Kindergarten include auto-graded mid-year and year-end checkpoint assessments in every subject to help identify strengths and areas that may need additional review.
Can I purchase subjects separately or mix grade levels?
Each curriculum bundle is a complete grade-level program with Mathematics, ELA, Science, and History & Civics. Subjects cannot currently be purchased separately or swapped between grade levels.
What if the curriculum is not right for my family?

No. Homeschool Advantage is a curriculum provider, not a school. Accreditation applies to schools and institutions, not standalone homeschool curriculum. Parents remain responsible for operating their homeschool and meeting the requirements of their state.
